Teen Fitness

Here at SHINE we have several different options when it comes to teens!

Our goal is to teach them that FITNESS is FUN!

We wanted to make sure you were aware and understood what SHINE is offering for pre-teens/teens throughout the school year to keep them active, healthy and having fun.

So here it is in a nutshell:

When you purchase a monthly membership for your daughter, this is what it includes:

UNLIMITED access to any and all of the following:

Monday: POST 3:30-4:30pm at SHINE

(this will include yoga, core work and strength/weight training)

Tuesday:  RODS Running group.  4:30-5:15pm at Bear Creek Park

(because of generous sponsors, we get to keep running throughout the school year and earning marbles for our orphan Mindey. Yay!!!)

Wednesday: POST 3:30-4:30pm at SHINE

(this will include yoga, core work and strength/weight training)

Thursday:  RODS Running Group (same info as above)

Friday: Family Circle Class 7:00-8:15pm

(Depending on the week and age of child, this class may include BOUNCE Fitness, Father/Son Weight Lifting, Mom/Daughter Dance and Teen Game Night- ALL FUN & active classes that your kids and you will LOVE)

That’s 5 days of fitness!

Just to make it clear, you are not required to make it to each one of these classes every week (although that is fine)- it is just to inform you as to what is available and then you choose which classes work best each week for your family and attend those ones and do the same for the following week, etc, etc.

This is a great opportunity to provide exercise and entertainment for your daughter whether or not they are already in a sport (supplemental).

Kids need to be moving their bodies every day and we will help them do that in a variety of ways.
