Easy Oatmeal With Fresh Apple & Cinnamon

  • Follow the directions on the back of the box of oatmeal for one serving…
  • Bring 1 cup of water to boil on high heat…
  • Add 1/2 cup of old fashioned oats and turn down the heat to medium…
  • Set timer for 5 minutes.
  • Cut up the apple… I peel the skin off and cut up chunks to add to the oatmeal white it’s simmering…

  • When the 5 minute timer beeps… pour into bowl
  • Add a little sugar free syrup (1/8 cup is half a serving size) and a little cinnamon…

Good to go!

**I’ve also substituted a pear in place of the apple… so good!**

Really… you could add any fruit… blueberries, strawberries, banana, etc…
